I must have been dreaming.

Truly.  I must have been dreaming if I thought I would be able to dedicate time to writing this blog each and every day.  But like most things that I become ridiculously excited about, I set off with great expectations.  Thankfully, I have discovered that my life is FAR from boring.  In fact, it is that my life is so NOT boring, that I never have time to sit down and muse over my daily adventures.  So, instead of beating myself up over not "committing" enough to this blog, I am thrilled to know that I don't need to be scared of my enemy any longer.  Actually, I think "boring" may be a nice change.  For at least 5 minutes.

So much has transpired in the past months.  Birthdays, Father's Day, Anniversary (7 years!!!) dinners with friends, visits with family, swanky parties, garden planting (and yes, that was super cool for a week, then the plants died and into the trash they went--but, it was a fun dream while it lasted), pool parties, trips to the lake, picnics, bbq, peachy basil margaritas...  The kids and I have been to the beach, battled sand fleas and ridiculous numbers of mosquitoes, eaten sushi in the rain, built campfires, paddled across the lake, biked around town and have won small wars against spiders INSIDE the house (YIKES!!!).  Plucking eggs from a hen house, picking beans, scaring cows from the middle of the road at midnight...The list of fun truly, goes on and on.

In between all of the chaos, I have found my two new FAV websites...Pinterest and Polyvore.  Clearly, one afternoon, I completely forgot about my responsibilities of making dinner, and spent my time playing and creating the most perfect outfits, as are listed on my previous blog.  The bonus out of the "time wasted" was that all of our friends still came over for dinner, we had a humongous feast of grilled cheese sandwiches with ridiculous amounts of cheese, fresh basil and onions.  Insane.  Then just because we could, we grilled up filet mignon and made gorgonzola cheese sauce.  It was amazing...six kids ran through the house, dance party in the kitchen and a working line of friends to create the perfect grilled cheese.  The 5 leftover grilled cheese sandwiches were cut into squares and made an incredible breakfast casserole on Saturday morning with the addition of eggs, milk and of course, sausage.  Of course, it was hurled to a ridiculous level of perfection with bloody mary's on the deck, in the sun:)  Happy, Happy, Happy times!  And, if you are looking for a sort of dreamy wonderland to whisk you away from any thoughts of possible boredom, check out those sites! :)
